Security Notice Regarding Unauthorized Email Activity
Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
We would like to inform you of a recent security incident involving unauthorized use of our email sending service.
On February 12, 2026 between approximately 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM (PT), unauthorized emails were sent from our address contact@jptamerica.com without our permission.
These emails contained phishing content related to cryptocurrency trading and were not legitimate communications from JPT America.
What Happened
A third party gained unauthorized access to our email sending system and used it to distribute phishing emails impersonating our company.
The unauthorized activity has been stopped, and corrective actions have been completed.
What You Should Do
If you received an email from contact@jptamerica.com during the time period noted above:
- Do not click on any links in the message
- Do not provide personal or login information
- Delete the email immediately
If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, please contact us directly through our official website.
Actions We Have Taken
We have taken the following steps immediately:
- Revoked and replaced affected email credentials
- Migrated to a new secured server environment
- Disabled the previous environment
- Strengthened security configurations and monitoring
- Conducted a full system review
At this time, we have no evidence of unauthorized access to customer data or internal databases.
Ongoing Measures
We are implementing additional safeguards, including:
- Further system hardening
- Enhanced monitoring and security review
- Continued infrastructure improvements
